ELECTRIC FIREPLACES TEST OUT SUCCESSFULLY
TEST FIREPLACE INSTALLED IN ROOM 110
The six new fireplaces we installed in the North Building have been very well received, and are proving more economical as well as functionally heating the room. The Board has budgeted for fireplace replacement to continue in 2009, with completion set for the winter of 2010.

EMERGING PLUMBING ISSUES: NORTH BUILDING
This picture shows the plumbing problems we need to repair in the North building. These include taking out the old tub surrounds and putting in ceramic tile, new sink and tub fixtures, and upgrading toilets to ADA height and size. We will replace the old noisy and non-working fans with new “quiet’ and “working” fans. We will replace all bathroom flooring and convert the bedroom bathtub in all 2-bath units into a walk-in shower. The Board has set a budget which will allow for at least 10 new bathrooms this year.

The Annual Meeting Notice, billing and “Driftings” will be in the mail on or before January 15, 2009. Owners can let us know if they do not want a mailed one, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE ANNUAL MEETING NOTICE, Which must be mailed to all owners. A vigilant owner noticed that the “DRIFTINGS” Annual meeting date at the top of the notice shows March 1. OOPS! should be Saturday March 7, as it is in the article’s text.
